About DebtClear

DebtClear was built on a single observation: most financial planning tools are either too complex, too expensive, or require data you are not willing to hand over to a third party. We set out to build free, private, browser-based tools that work for real households — not just financially sophisticated ones.

Since our first calculator went live, 4,217 budgets have been created and 183 households have reported meaningful changes to their savings rate after using our tools. We measure success by outcomes, not page views.

What We Stand For

Four principles that shape every tool and article we publish.

🔒

Privacy First

All calculations run locally in your browser. No financial data is transmitted to our servers, stored, or used for any purpose.

🎯

Precision Over Simplification

We do not round numbers to feel encouraging. Accurate information — even when uncomfortable — produces better financial decisions.

📖

Accessible Without Compromise

Financial literacy should not require a degree or a paid advisor. Our tools and guides are designed for anyone willing to engage with their numbers.

⚖️

No Conflicts of Interest

We do not sell financial products, receive referral commissions, or partner with lenders. Our only incentive is accuracy and usefulness.
